DATA DASHBOARD PAPER DESIGN
All too often a digital dashboard and printout of the same data can look extremely different. The objective of this project was to make the digital and printed version of the data presentation be the same. Thereby reducing any misunderstandings and the learning curve of interpreting insights.
By relentlessly focusing on the data, was able to remove most of the UI which distracts from insights on a more traditional dashboard design. Functionality is part of the design layout, not a separate added on UI element. By incorporating the functionality in this way, a more organic and clearer experience for the user is created. Allowing for the data and the insights to easily understood. Thus making it more useful for the end user in both digital and printed experiences.

Showing an overview of all the persons data. The data presentation is organised using panels with simple charts supported by clear easy to read tables highlighting any changes and insights.
Data presentation for the main sections of the dashboard design. Showing key insights related to data for each section. The person gets the key takeaways without having to do anything themselves.
The navigation and search are the only UI exposed on the digital version of the experience. The menu is a clear and easy organised into sections, with segmented visual search results.
Using natural language to increase understanding of what data the person is looking at. With expandable panels for selecting filters to create an inline experience at the point of need.
Have the ability to create either a engagement or e-commerce campaign, which allows a person to see how a their various promotions are promoting against a target over a set time period. Providing clear and actionable insights are company targets.
Can create clusters of very focused and selected data sets in order to target campaigns against. Then can monitor those clusters to track changes and performance. Adjusting and using clusters to increase overall results.
Can compare to different time periods simply and directly across all the data.
Can drill down to the source of all the data, a persons profile. Whereby can view all the data you can collected on their behaviour across the various touchpoint.
